Anna Gray Fender, IIDA, LEED AP
Senior Interior Designer
A Columbia native, Ms. Fender is a graduate of Irmo High School and attended Winthrop University for her undergraduate studies. There she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Interior Design in May of 2005. While attending Winthrop, Ms. Fender was very active with campus activities and participated in a Study Abroad Art and Architecture class visiting various areas of Italy.
Ms. Fender brings nine years of a variety of project experience with her. She has previously worked on a wide range of project types including Master Planning, small renovation and interior upfit projects as well as historic preservation and large new construction projects. She understands the various scales of design throughout a project, lending design influence from the large-scale ideas, through to the intricate interior details. She has a passion for creating spaces with her clients that are highly functional and enhance her clients' lives.
In the community, Ms. Fender is active in many organizations. She led the IIDA Columbia City Center in a variety of community activities including teaming with HomeWorks of America to complete home renovations and the Epworth Children’s Home BBQ Cookoff to raise money for the Children’s Home. She graduated from the Leadership Columbia Class of 2013, a program through the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce and now serves on their Advisory Board.
